Universal Pictures Home Entertainment [one] (formerly Universal Studios Home Entertainment, Universal Studios Dwelling Video, MCA/Universal Home Video, MCA Home Video, MCA Videodisc Inc. and MCA Videocassette Inc.) is the home video distribution division of American movie studio Universal Pictures, endemic by the NBCUniversal Picture show and Entertainment partition of NBCUniversal, which is endemic by Comcast.
History
The company was founded in 1980 as MCA Videocassette, Inc. with Factor Giaquinto as president of the division and released 24 films on Betamax and VHS in May 1980, including Jaws, Creature House and The Deer Hunter every bit well as archetype films such as Dracula, Brute Crackers and Scarface.[ii] Jaws 2 and 1941 were also released that year. Internationally
